DOORWAY

Trust no one. Not even what you see.

DOORWAY is a short first-person mystery puzzle game inspired by the visual style of classic PlayStation 1 games.

You find yourself inside a strange building filled with rooms, doors, and objects that seem ordinary at first.

But something is wrong.

Each room contains three doors and three unique objects. By exploring the rooms and paying close attention to what you see, you must figure out which door to take.

There are no tutorials.

There are no instructions telling you what to do.

You have to discover the rules yourself.

 Gameplay

  • Explore a mysterious building from a first-person perspective.
  • Each room contains three doors and three unique objects.
  • Observe paintings, televisions, weapons, furniture, and other strange objects.
  • Use a camera to capture things you find interesting.
  • Look for hidden patterns and clues between rooms.
  • Decide which door you can trust.
  • Mistakes may lead you somewhere unexpected.
  • The final room contains only one door.

The Camera

Early in the game, you discover a camera.

Use it to take photographs of objects and environments.

Sometimes, what you see through a photograph may be more important than what you see directly.

Pay attention.

The game intentionally embraces the limitations and charm of classic 3D games.

Trust No One

The game is built around one simple idea:

Can you trust what you see?

Objects may look familiar.

Rooms may look safe.

Doors may look identical.

But appearances can be misleading.

Observe carefully.

Remember what you've seen.

And choose your door.
